Tomáš is a Partner at Aegis Law and also heads the employment law team. Tomáš regularly receives top (Tier/Band 1) recommendations from both Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 legal directories, which describe him as “among the absolute best advocates when it comes to labour law in the country” with sources praising “his ability to take a holistic view on legal requirements of a company”.
Tomáš advises on all issues related to employment law but is best known for contentious employment issues, including employment terminations and whistle-blower disputes. Tomáš further specializes in manager’s liability, employment aspects of commercial and corporate transactions, trade union relations and strategic employment issues.
Tomáš is a member of the Employment Law Section of the Czech Bar Association, a founding member of the Czech Employment Lawyers Association (CzELA), a member of the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA), a member of the Expert Panel of the Association for the Development of Collective Bargaining and Labour Relations, and a mediator in collective disputes appointed by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs. He is a frequent speaker and a regular contributor to professional journals.
